277 Fake Engineering Colleges in India: Delhi Tops the list

Although the condition of engineering in the country is not hidden from anyone, people are still part of engineering like sheep move. There can be any reason why students are constantly taking admission in engineering.

Engineering colleges are taking advantage of this. Every year, their fees increase as if they are giving such high education that all students will be able to get a job. But under the guise there are some colleges that have neither received permission from the government nor are they going to say anything, in this way the future of students studying in these colleges is going in the dark.

According to a Minister of State in the recent Lok Sabha, 277 engineering colleges in India are fake.

Delhi tops the list

Delhi has the highest number of 66 colleges with the first place. In Karnataka, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh, this figure is more than 20.

It has been appealed to the State Governments that these colleges should be closed as soon as possible.

Not only this, 24 universities in India are also fake, whose list is uploaded on the University Grants Commission (UGC), which is updated regularly.
